Reputation System
Thin Blue Lie uses a Reputation system to moderate the website. The more reputation you have, which you can get from contributing to the database, the more you can do. Each time you hit a milestone you get a new privilege. You can also lose reputation if you deliberately misuse or abuse the website. As long as you aren't doing anything malicious, don't worry about it!

Edits Accepted:+4 One of your edits(not to your own post) got accepted
Helpful Flags:+2 You flagged something troublesome and brought it to the attention of a moderator! Thank you!
Thorough Post+1 One of your posts is well fleshed out. It has a long enough context, enough media, and is accurate.
Bad Post Deleted:+3 A post of yours got deleted by a moderator for breaking a rule.
Post Gets 6 Violent, Spam, or Fake Flags:+5 Only going to happen to malicous posts.
